Medicaid recipients that are enrolled in the Elderly and Disabled Waiver are able to receive Adult Day Services free of charge at qualified centers. Beautiful Life has been an approved Medicaid provider since 2007 and continues to meet or exceed the stringent guide lines set forth by Medicaid. Beautiful Life can fill out the necessary paper work to refer recipients that are not in the Waiver.
Most veterans receiving VA benefits can receive Adult Day Services free of charge at qualified centers. To be an approved Adult Day Service provider a program must meet certain criteria set forth by the VA such as staff to client ratios, staff training and qualifications, and handicap accessibility. Beautiful Life meets or exceeds all requirements set forth by the VA.
Most health insurance companies will cover Adult Day Services if the policy includes Long Term Care.
Beautiful Life has two private pay options.
Our ½ day rate of $30 is applied to participants staying at the center for four hours or less. Beautiful Life cannot provide transportation services at this rate so participants or their caregivers must arrange their own transportation to and from the center. This option is good for full time caregivers that need a break as they leave their loved one in our care and tend to personal matters or errands.
Our full day rate is $48 in which clients are eligible for full services and can stay however long they choose during open hours. At this rate, a client could possible remain in our care for 10 hours resulting in $4.80 per hour. Compare $4.80 per hour against $17 for sitting services. Also compare the amount of therapeutic social interaction, community involvement, transportation to doctor visits, on site nurse and health monitoring, and social services that you don’t get with in-home sitters.
